Stuart Foster
Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Stuart is the founder of Foster Stockbroking and has been involved in stockbroking for more than 25 years.
He is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the firm, fostering corporate relationships as well as responsible for principal investments.
Stuart holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Canterbury University and is a qualified Accountant. He is an ASIC Responsible Executive and an ASIC Responsible Manager. Stuart is also a Director of Pacific Energy Ltd (PEA.ASX).
Mark Hinsley
Executive Director
Head of Corporate Finance
Mark joined Foster Stockbroking in 2010 and has more than 13 years’ experience in the financial services industry encompassing corporate finance, research and sales and focussing on emerging ASX listed companies.
He has primary responsibility for leading the firm’s corporate finance capability and fostering relationships with corporate clients.
Mark’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.
Mark Fichera
Executive Director
Head of Research
Mark leads and manages the research team, being responsible for the firm’s research strategy. He has extensive experience analysing industrial and resource stocks, having been an analyst in the stockbroking and funds management industries for over 20 years.
Mark holds a MBA from Macquarie University, an MSc from the University of NSW, and a BSc (Hons) from the University of Sydney. He also has a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.
Martin Carolan

Equity Sales
Martin has more than 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry encompassing institutional dealing, research and equity capital markets.
He joined FSB in 2010 and is now primarily responsible for managing relationships with FSB institutional clients.
His qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (Banking) from UTS (Sydney) and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance from FINSIA. Martin is an ASIC Responsible Executive and an ASIC Responsible Manager.
Haris Khaliqi
Executive Director
Equity Sales
Haris joined Foster Stockbroking in 2011 with a background in strategy and technology. Since joining FSB, Haris has had experience in equities research and sales.
His primary role is managing relationships with institutional clients.
His qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (Information and Communication Systems) from Macquarie University.
Rob Telford
Corporate Executive
Corporate Finance - Perth
Rob joined Foster Stockbroking in 2017 and has over 12 years’ experience in corporate finance, funds management and accounting.
He is based in Perth and is responsible for strengthening relationships with our corporate clients and growing our presence in Western Australia.
Prior to joining Foster Stockbroking, Rob worked at the LinQ Resources Fund and LinQ Corporate and he has buy-side and sell-side experience from numerous equity, debt and strategic transactions for ASX listed companies.
His qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants and, a Bachelor of Commerce (App Fin. & Comm. Law) and a Masters of Accounting from Curtin University, Perth.
Rob is also a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (2011).
George Mourtzouhos
Trade Execution and Dealing
George is responsible for executing orders and he assists with booking equity trades. George has over 12 years experience in the finance industry. He is an experienced operator and he has worked extensively in equity settlements.
George holds a Bachelor of Business from the UTS (Sydney) and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from KAPLAN.
Matthew Chen
Equities Research/Analyst
Matthew is responsible for researching small to medium capitalisation stocks across various sectors, such as resources and industrials. He has had several years’ experience in equities research and funds management covering a wide range of stocks from small to large caps including those in energy, media, materials, and IT.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Law, a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Commerce from the University of Sydney. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
